The Pichorides Distinguished Lectureship
S.K. Pichorides
This is a short term visiting position (1 or 2 months),
established in the memory of the late S.K. Pichorides,
who was the driving force behind the Department's progress until
his early death in 1992.
The position is funded by
FORTH
(Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas).
The Department invites to this position well known mathematicians
from around the world, who give several lectures here during their stay
and interact with the faculty and students.
