This is the problem of construction of all circles simultaneous tangent to three given "circles". In its most general formulation some or all of the "circles" can be also points (very small circles) or lines (very big circles). Below are displayed eight cases where the "circles" are real circles. There are cases where the solution is impossible, as for example is the case of three circles belonging to the same circle bundle. EucliDraw has dedicated tools for the construction (with three mouse-clicks) of all solutions of all possible cases and the dynamic variation of them. Variants of these cases resulting by replacing one of the three circles with a line are illustrated in ApolloniusProblem2.html .
